Welcome to Creation Indoor Climbing and Caving Centre
(a part of Creation Adventure Sports Ltd)

Creation is the Midlands Biggest Indoor Climbing Centre. With over 100 lines of top rope and lead climbing on 200 different routes from 3+ to 7c. We also have a kids only bouldering area, and a dedicated 6000sqft main bouldering room with hundreds of problems from VB to v9. Climbing and bouldering is split in to distinct zones so crowding is never a problem.

Whether you are new to the sport or a regular climber, our centre has a host of routes and problems to keep you entertained. We also have two autobelays, a training area, abseil platform and extensive indoor caving system spread over three levels.

With an onsite cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks, and a great retail outlet, we have everything you need all under one roof.

Creation has one of the UK’s few iindoor climbing systems. Spanning over 200ft of twists and turns on three levels, have you got what it takes to make it all the way through?

Training aids to get your stronger! With a LED Mooboard, woodboard, campus rungs and pull up bars it’s a great addition to the climbing gym

Our Learn to Lead course takes you on the journey from bottom rop climbing to safely learning the do’s and on’t of lead climbing

Kids love climbing, and what’s better than celebrating your birthday with a Climbing, Bouldering/Caving party. We can accomodate small groups or larger parties upto 40 people

This course is perfect for you if you are looking at getting into climbing seriously. Learn about harness and shoe selection, tying in, and how to belay your partner safely

Creation isn’t just ropes! We have a huge bouldering area too, with over 200 problems graded from VB upto V8

Our fun taster sessions are perfect for small or large groups who want to give climbing a go. An instructor will literally ‘show you the ropes’ as you climb as many routes as you can. Can also include bouldering

I went with a group of 6 friends. We were given one instructor although we really could have done with another one. However, Oliver (the instructor) was amazing at his job and gave us the confidence to climb and interacted with us well.
The place was big with a good variety of tall walls and short walls to try out.
My only negative comment is that the price was too high as we had previously tried out a different place where the price was significantly lower.

Sound place for a climb, nice staff and lots of varied routes.
A good mix of both rope and bouldering.

Great place to take my 4 and 6 year old for their first rock climbing experience. Both loved it and plenty big enough to keep them occupied for 3 hours or so.

Really great. Don’t let the outside put you off. Plenty of street parking on the weekend. Staff friendly and a great place for the kids.

It's a great climbing centre and so many routes if you have a belay buddy. Only 2 self belay machines with 6 possible routes to do.
Some of the areas were wet, leaks in the roof.
I'll be going back.

Our new go to climbing centre. Great high climbs in varying styles decent height and some designed to feel like actual cliff faces. Plenty of difficulty levels to choose from. Expanding bouldering sections for when you haven’t got a climbing partner or use the autobelays which also have a range of challenges! Courses to improve ability available. Staff on hand to check your ability before you climb! Skate park also attached (haven’t used this!) on the downside: Changing room is as basic as needed but often very cold. Too few lockers which are a little too small (the largest ones are always full and I often have motorbike gear to store!) and the toilets need an overhaul. Cycle / motorbike parking outside would be advantageous. Back on the positives: There’s a great range of climbing accessories available to buy and staff on hand to give advice, however from a retail point of view, the Cafe is cheap and the food is basic greasy spoon / burger options. It would be nice to have something more healthy to compliment the fitness / exercise opportunities at the centre. No vegan options. (I’m not vegan but it’s a growing trend!) Would recommend.
