At Creation Climbing Centre, our school and group sessions are designed to be fun, motivating, educational, and inclusive for all abilities. Whether you’re looking for a one-off reward session or a structured educational programme, we can tailor sessions to suit your group’s needs.

Tailored Programmes for Schools & Organisations

We regularly create bespoke climbing programmes for:

• Primary & Secondary Schools
• Colleges & Universities
• Youth Groups
• SEN Schools
• Charities & Non-Profit Organisations

Our structured courses can run over entire terms and include carefully planned syllabuses designed to progressively develop climbing ability, confidence, teamwork, and safety awareness.

Students learn:

• Essential climbing techniques
• Safety procedures and equipment use
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Goal setting and confidence building

Our instructors carefully monitor progress throughout the programme using internal assessment sheets, helping students strengthen weaker areas and achieve their full potential.

GCSE Climbing Courses

We offer complete GCSE climbing programmes tailored to:

• AQA
• EDEXCEL
• OCR

Sessions are structured to meet exam board requirements and can be adapted to suit varying student abilities and school timetables.

To fulfil the GCSE syllabus requirements, students will generally require a minimum of six 90-minute sessions, although additional sessions may be beneficial depending on ability levels.

As a guide, six sessions are typically enough for students to achieve at least a Level 3 assessment standard.

More Than Just Climbing

Alongside roped climbing, groups can also enjoy:

• Bouldering on low-level walls with safety matting
• Indoor caving adventures
• Abseiling sessions
• Team-building activities
• End-of-term reward sessions

Students are placed into consistent groups throughout the course, encouraging teamwork, progression, and confidence within their peers.

SEN & Additional Needs Support

We proudly provide regular sessions for schools and organisations supporting individuals with:

• Special Educational Needs
• Additional Learning Requirements
• Behavioural Difficulties

Instructor Ratios

Our standard operating ratio is:
1 Instructor : 6 Participants

However, bespoke ratios and tailored support can be arranged where required.

Pricing Structure

1–3 Sessions Booked

• £80 for the first hour per instructor
• £48 for additional hours (or part thereof)

4–6 Sessions Booked

• £70 for the first hour per instructor
• £44 for additional hours (or part thereof)

7+ Sessions Booked

• £60 for the first hour per instructor
• £40 for additional hours (or part thereof)

We can invoice:

• Fully in advance
• After each session
• Via account setup for schools and organisations

Please note: we do not accept cheques or payment on the day of the session.

Booking Information

We always aim to accommodate your preferred dates and requirements wherever possible. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend contacting the centre as early as possible to secure your booking.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

• Sessions may be rescheduled free of charge more than 14 days before the booking date.
• Rescheduling within 14 days of the booking will incur a charge of 50% of the booking cost.
• Sessions cannot be rescheduled on the day of the booking.
• All rescheduling is subject to instructor availability.
