For 17 years we have delivered climbing sessions to special needs children nd adults.
It’s as rewarding for our instructors as it is for the participants.
We have worked closely with SENSE, who work with people with complex disabilities and delivered thousands of successful sessions to people with autism, deaf, blind people and those with physical disabilities.
We have specific routes set for people with difficulties, and our instructors will show the required patience and offer the guidance needs to offer a rewarding session for everyone involved.
How do the bookings work?
We will always do our best to accomodate the time and date you require. It may be that you need to work with us on dates so that we can ensure we have a suitably qualified instructor in the centre for your session. We are open from 10am to 10pm though, so we should be able to find a suitably convenient time for your visit.
How do the sessions run?
Our instructors work on a maximum ratio of 1:8, though bespoke ratio numbers can be arranged if necessary, we can even deliver a one to one session at a reduced rate if you so wish. The group will not only climb the roped routes, but enjoy bouldering on our low level walls with safety mats. We can also take groups into our indoor caving system if requested.
How much does it cost?
Our rates for groups are:
£70* per instructor for the first hour
£39* per instructor for every consecutive hour.
That’s a one hour session with a fully qualified instructor and all the safety equipment required for just £8.25, or two hours for just £13.60 per person, if you have a full group of 8 people per instructor.
We will try to accommodate your wishes as closely as possible. To avoid disappointment please contact the centre as soon as possible to arrange your booking.
Group sessions are invoiced based on your requirements, either fully in advance, or after each session. Just let us know how your budget is allocated and we will accommodate your needs.
Sessions can be invoiced after setting up an account, or alternatively can be paid by cash or card in advance. We do not accept cheques or payment on the day.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policy : Sessions can be rescheduled free of charge more than 14 days before your booking. Rescheduling a session within 14 days will incur a charge of 50% of the booking cost.
Any rescheduling is dependent on instructor availability, we cannot guarantee that your preferred date and time will be available.
Sessions may not be rescheduled on the day of the booking.
