25/10/22 The Creation UV Event is back!
After an absence of 3 years (mainly due to COVID), plans are now underway to hold our next night UV climbing event. Details will be released soon, but it’s currently pencilled in for 3rd December 2022 from 7pm until 11pm.
The event will cover our main bouldering wall, and middle roped climbing areas. Sadly, due to the complexities of setting for this event we won’t be able to open the Amphitheatre or back room for this event.
Details will be released on our social media platforms, so stay tuned!
8/12/23 MYCS Competition Round 1 January 2024
We are happy to be the first round for the 2024 MYCS youth climbing competition on January 7th 2024, the centre will be open as usual for recreational climbers though some lines will be unavailable due to the competition which will run till around 3.30pm.
Competitors should register their interest for this event directly with MYCS.
1/2/22 Upgrade to Rock Gym Pro
From the beginning of February 202 we are migrating our old membership system to RGP. Unfortunately, we can not import our old database of 75000 members to the new system so we are asking all members to re-register on our new system. You will be given a keytag with a barcode which you can use to book in to the centre quickly and easily.
We will transfer your existing annual membership and any punch cards, loyalty schemes, or month passes over once you have registered on our new system.
The new waiver can be completed by clicking the information tab on the top menu bar.
5/1/22 The Back Room Reopens!
Hooray! After 6 months of closure, the major upgrade of our back room is complete and the room reopens to the public.
It’s been a long hard slog to renovate this climbing area, but we think you will be excited with the results.
We’ve remodelled a big chunk of the room, added a new lead slab and given the entire room a fresh recoat of friction in a funky modern colour scheme.
This adds 40 new lines back to the centre, with a even mix of top rope and lead lines, and another 80 new routes and 750 shiny new holds.
