Got Kids? Ever find them climbing the counter tops at home? If so, burn off that excess energy in our weekend Kids Climbing Club!

Crag Rats is our kids club, designed and aimed specifically at young people, aged 4 to 17 years old, who wish to take up climbing seriously. These sessions run every Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am-12:30pm.

Our Crag Rats sessions are separated into ability levels and have a maximum of 6 kids per group to ensure as much progress as possible.

We have introduced the popular NICAS syllabus, a nationally accredited climbing award scheme, to the Crag Rats Sessions. This enables each climber the chance to learn every aspect of climbing, from tying a simple knot, to belaying with various devices, to abseiling and technique.

We have over 200 Crag rats who visit on a regular basis, some of which enter the annual BRYCS and the My Climbing Series climbing competitions held by The British Mountaineering Council.

It’s a great way for kids to make friends with other like minded people and keep fit and healthy.

We run the Crag Rats club every Saturday and Sunday, but spaces fill up quickly (especially in the winter!) so it’s best to book as far in advance as possible. It costs just £17.50 per person for an action packed two hour session, and we try to fit your child in a group with others of the same ability. No other costs as all the equipment is included in the price.

Don’t forget we are open 10am till 10pm in the week and 10am till 6pm on weekends.
